ACU Faculty
The faculty of Abilene Christian University are a community of Christian scholars dedicated to equipping students to live integrated, Christ-centered lives of service and leadership. Through example and instruction, faculty members motivate students to love learning and to pursue truth throughout their lives.
The goal of the faculty is to see that students combine their Christian faith, their professional commitment and a broad range of human knowledge into a coherent worldview which recognizes the interrelatedness of all parts of God's universe.
Faculty at ACU are committed to their profession:
- Each member makes a concentrated effort to be a productive leader in his/her own discipline or position; this recognition may be in teaching, research, creative production, performance, publication or administration.
- All faculty are committed to excellence in all phases of work in the profession.
- Faculty are dedicated to constant efforts to stay at the forefront in the profession.
- Faculty take an active leadership role in areas of expertise, interests and concerns.
Faculty Achievements
Jason Morris, Program Director, Master of Education in Higher Education was named a Fulbright Fellow. The Fulbright Program is one of the most prestigious award programs and has 36 Nobel Prize Winners among its alumni, more than any other scholarship program of its kind.
Lloyd Goldsmith, Program Director, Master of Education recently published "The Principal's Guide to School Budgeting," April, 2006, Thousand Oaks, California: Corwin Press.
